And Now on to the Week in Wolfpack
I had to start the week of with a Wolfpack national title. Elly Henes, won the women's 5000m in amazing fashion. It is a 2 minute video that is a must-watch. Pay close attention to the look on the face of the girl in 2nd. She was giving it her all but you see the moment she knew she couldn't keep up.
And a highlight I'm sure everyone already saw but who can get enough of go-ahead bombs to win the Super Regional.
David Thompson put out a couple great pieces in the FayObs.
And the story about new OL Chandler Zavala's dad being a celebrity chef.
Recruiting action has been hot and heavy.
The Pack picked up their top CB target, Jackson Vick from Southern Nash.
NC State offered another Thomas brother, Lex, and older brother Thayer couldn't be more proud.
and today he's playing at the 7 v 7 camp at NC State and tearing it up. For a 15 yr old, he's got good zip on his passes and is just torching teams apparently.
Commitment MJ Morris continues to rack up awards winning another QB challenge at Rivals camp.
2023 4-star QB, Pierce Clarkson visited this week and word is the visit went great. I'm not gonna lie, he looks like a shorter Cam Newton.
Highly-regarded DT from NC, fresh off his visit to Wisconsin has set a commitment date which is 5 days after he's scheduled to visit NC State. Things don't look good for the good guys if we're being honest. Signs pointing to being a Badger.
Future Pack Pros
I believe Shy Battle has what it takes to make it to the league. Scouts are noticing too.
Undrafted WR, Jakobi Meyers might be taking the #1 spot on the Patriots depth chart.
Julius Hodge is forever the best.
I was going to include a bunch of hoops recruiting stuff but I think I'll save that for a separate article this week. There's a lot to talk about.
Have a great weekend.
Go Pack!
